Zucchini, also known as Gherkin in the PAL region, is an unlockable kart part in Mario Kart 7.

The Zucchini is an extended, green kart resembling the shape of a zucchini and a cucumber. This kart highly resembles Yoshi's Cucumber from Mario Kart DS, and the Classic Dragster from Mario Kart Wii. It is shaped just like the B Dasher. In the front, there is a yellow line similar to that of red line decorating the B Dasher. Also, the Zucchini has same color that the Cucumber is as they both are colored green. Next to the yellow line, there are three small black lines on both sides. Next to the black lines, there are bluish-gray squares where the tires can stick next to it. There is also a cyan windshield next to the black wheel. At the back, there is a very small, orange, square-shaped light next to the bigger square. Also, at the back, there are four circular orange lights with spiky, polished, bluish-gray rocket above it.

Zucchini is considered to be one of the fastest karts in the game, along with the Blue Seven, B Dasher and the Bruiser. It shares the same speed as the Blue Seven.

The kart's name "Zucchini" is different in the PAL and NTSC regions because the word "zucchini" has a different spelling or meaning everywhere else in the world. "Zucchini" is the name in Northern America and "courgette" is what it is called everywhere else. Though the kart is not called "Courgette" and is rather called "Gherkin," a type of courgette/zucchini.
