Physical description[]
Zombie Guys are undead red Shy Guys that can be distinguished by their dirt-tainted clothing.
Behavior[]
Zombie Guys usually do a staggered, sluggish walk in a single direction, turning the other way upon encountering a wall, an edge or another enemy. One Zombie Guy stays in place at the start, but proceeds to shuffle toward the Yoshi when he comes close, damaging him on contact. While most Zombie Guys are encountered normally on Yoshi's path, others spawn from underground burrows, and if a Zombie Guy from an underground burrow is defeated, another one spawns in its place.
In Yoshi's Crafted World[]
Zombie Guys are first encountered at the start of Haunted Maker Mansion, when they come out of the ground during a lightning strike, and Zombie Guys appear frequently throughout outdoors portion of the level. The only other time they appear is in the level Be Afraid of the Dark.
A Zombie Guy can be defeated from either being jumped on or having an egg thrown at it. Yoshi can also eat and swallow a Zombie Guy to produce an egg.
