Zeus Guys (also called Scorchits or Fire Snifits) are a sub-species of Snifit that appear in Yoshi's Island DS, they mainly appear in the latter parts of the game as they first appear in Castle of Big Guy the Stilted. Zeus Guys mainly attack by walking slowly and breathing streams of fire capable of melting ice blocks (similar to Baby Bowser), they have two methods of breathing fire, the first involves them breathing the fire stream straightforward and the second involves them moving their head and breathing it up and down diagonally. Zeus Guys are later seen in At Last, Bowser's Castle!, Welcome to Yoshi Tower!, A Light in the Dark, Hurry and Throw!, and Let there be Light!. Zeus Guys can damage Yoshi upon contact and can be defeated by either stomping on them, swallowing them, tossing an egg at them, using Baby Donkey Kong's Dash Attack, and Baby Bowser's fire breath. Tossing an egg at a Zeus Guy will cause it to appear in the Museum, they are seen in the Subterranean Enemy Exhibit.

- Zeus Guys share their name with the Zeus Guys from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island however those Zeus Guys are a type of Bandit/Green Glove rather than a Snifit.
