"Zenned Out Mario is the forty-third live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the animated episode "The Koopas are Coming! The Koopas are Coming!."
Plot[]
Mario is in a highly distressed state and heavily locks a door, the reason being that he asked out the sister of Tulio: a bully of a plumber that is highly protective of his sister. Just as Mario asks what he should do, the spirit Obi-Wan Cannoli appears in the Marios' mirror. Obi-Wan Cannoli helps people deal with their problems and advises Mario to pass through a wall. Mario rams into a brick wall but only gets hurt for his efforts.
Obi-Wan Cannoli continues to help Mario down "the path of enlightenment" but Mario is completely in the dark as to what he's supposed to learn. Finally, Mario gets the idea to pretend he's on crutches hoping to take advantage of Tulio's better nature. Tulio shows up but Obi-Wan Cannoli tells him that Mario's not there and should be left alone. Put under Obi-Wan Cannoli's power, Tulio leaves calling Mario his friend.
