Yoshi's Island (Super Mario World)

The Yoshi's Island is an island that is the first world of Super Mario World. It is where Mario and Luigi meet up with the Yoshis for the first time.

Yoshi's Island is mainly grassy plains-related, and doesn't contain any underwater levels. The main enemies in this world include Koopa Troopas, Rexes, and a few others. Iggy can be fought in his castle at the end of this world. Completing this world leads to Donut Plains. Unlike many other locations, Yoshi's Island doesn't change much throughout the game, and has no secret exits. However it has a switch palace, placed atop a mountain located on the northwestern part of the island.
