Yellow Blocks are items seen in the Paper Mario series. Found in various locations, these blocks often block Mario's path until he finds the hammer. There are three different various types of blocks found in the game: Yellow Blocks, which can be broken by the Sandard Hammer and upgrades. Stone Blocks, which can be broken by the Super Hammer and upgrades. However, in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, these blocks can be broken by the Ultra Hammer. And finally, the Metal Block. The Metal Block can be broken only by the Ultra Hammer. But, In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, these blocks cannot be broken at all. In Super Paper Mario, the Yellow Block appears, and is broken only by Cudge.
