World 6-3 is the fourth main level of World 6 in New Super Mario Bros.. It is unlocked after completing World 6-
, and completing this level will unlock World 6-4.
Overview[]
This level takes place in a jungle, much like World 4's levels, with mountains in the background, and features Warp Pipes with Piranha Plants and Venus Fire Traps.
Layout[]

This jungle level starts off with a spiked Question Block located right in front of the player. After green and yellow Warp Pipes that both have Piranha Plants, Mario can then use a Question Block tied to a string to get the first Star Coin. After a jump, Mario must enter a red Warp Pipe to progress through the level.

The player will be taken to an underground section with rolling logs over poison water. Another red Warp Pipe is located at the end of this area. After exiting is another row of Warp Pipes, with some of them having Piranha Plants. The closest pipe from exiting takes the player to some coins, the pipe after takes the player to the second Star Coin, and the farthest pipe takes the player further through the level. The following underground section contains rolling logs and many pipes with Piranha Plants over poison.
After successfully traversing these jumps and exiting from the Warp Pipe at the end, the player will reach the checkpoint. However, the leading spiked Question Block can be used for access to the third Star Coin to the left. Continuing right, the player can follow a Moneybag over jumps to get coins, and a 1-Up Mushroom if successful. After a few jumps over blocks, including two spiked ones and one tied a string, the player will reach the flagpole.
Star Coins[]
- Star Coin 1: Shortly after the level starts, the player will find a block tied to a string. Mario can either hit it from below or perfectly land on it to reach the first Star Coin above.
- Star Coin 2: After the first underground section, the second warp pipe after the one the player exited will lead to the Star Coin underground.
- Star Coin 3: After exiting the last underground section (just before the checkpoint), the player should hit the spiked Question Block to the right to remove the spikes. Then the player must successfully jump to the left to reach the Star Coin in between two pipes. The player must execute successful Wall Jumps to get back to the main level. Alternatively, the player can also use a Mega Mushroom to break the pipes.
