World 4 is the fourth world of Super Mario Bros. and its remakes Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe.
Description[]
This world is a grassland that, once again, takes place in daylight. Enemies such as Lakitus, Spinies, and Buzzy Beetles are introduced. This is also the second and last world to contain an underground course.
On the map in Deluxe, there are quite a bit of trees, and less water is shown. The land elevator is slightly higher than before. 4-1 lies to the far west. The player is then lead east to 4-2, which is next to a pipe that will transport the player to a pipe on the north end. 4-3 sits on a small piece of land in the water, sitting just across from the castle.
