- "World 4 is a lush forested landscape teeming with life. Unfortunately, most of the forest inhabitants are far from friendly. Before you make it through the forest, you'll have to navigate your way through the mind-bending World 4 Ghost House."
- —New Super Mario Bros.'s official site
World 4 is the fourth world in the game New Super Mario Bros.. This world is only unlockable if Mummipokey, the boss of World 2 is defeated while Mario or Luigi are in mini form. Defeating the boss of this world allows Mario to progress to the snowy World 5.
The boss of this world is Mega Goomba that can be defeated either by using elevators to reach its head or by using 27 fireballs.
Layout[]
It is a jungle-themed world with toxic purple water seeping through the ground. The world is largely inhabited by Koopa Troopas and Goombas, with Scuttlebugs dropping down from the boughs of the trees. As aforementioned, a large swamp of toxic purple water flows through the world. If Mario or Luigi were to touch the water, they would die instantly.
