World 4-1 is a level that appears in Super Mario Land. It is the first level of World 4, the Chai Kingdom.
Overview[]
World 4-1 is a plains-like level with a feel of China as a theme. This level introduces Pionpis who are zombie-like enemies that cannot be killed by normal means. Other than that, this level contains mainly Piranha Plants and Bombshell Koopas as regular enemies along with bottomless pits to jump over and avoid.
