World 3-3 is the thirteenth level of Super Mario 3D Land.
Layout[]
Bubbles are in the air as Mario walks his way through several collapsing bridges. In the diagonal paths, Mario also fights a swarm of Stingbies. Afterward is a large bridge of falling Donut lifts. There is a Star found at the beginning of the bridge and can be used to defeat all of the Stingbies in the area. Past this bridge is the checkpoint of the level. The Checkpoint then leads to two different paths. The one of the left leads to a Star Medal while the other leads further to the Flagpole. After the two paths, Mario crosses more large chasms via collapsing Donut lifts and finds a Warp Box. This block leads Mario to the last leap of the level, crossing a collapsing "staircase" of Donut lifts.
Star Medals[]
- Star Medal 1: At the beginning of the level, so long as Mario has the Super Leaf, he can find a secret cog behind a large wall. Using the cog, he finds a Warp Pipe high in the sky will lead to the first Star Medal.
- Star Medal 2: Taking the left pass after the Checkpoint, and then traversing the gaps and wall-kicking up gives the second Star Medal.
- Star Medal 3: To obtain the third and final Star Medal, Mario must use the binoculars on the side after the second Chain Chomp and view the Toad on the far side. Then, Mario must travel the way to the Coin.
