World 1-2 is the second level in World 1 of New Super Mario Bros. 2. Like most other second levels in Mario games, this level takes place underground. It has multiple Koopa Troopas, Brick Blocks, and POW Blocks.

Star Coins[]
- Star Coin 1: Not too far after going through the first Warp Pipe, there should be a brick structure with 3 Koopa Troopas in it. Hit the POW Blocks in the structure by either Ground Pounding or using a Koopa Shell to reveal the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2: Right after the first Star Coin, enter the yellow Warp Pipe. This will lead you to a room with a P-Switch. Press the P-Switch, then run through some Warp Pipes. Get onto the upper floor, avoid the Koopa Troopas, then get the Star Coin before the P-Switch runs out.
- Star Coin 3: In order to get this Star Coin, you need a Fire Flower. Once you get to a Fire Pipe, shoot fire balls into it until a Mega Mushroom comes out. Take this Mega Mushroom, and start running to the right. You'll then find a Star Coin trapped in some blocks. Use your Mega Mushroom to break these blocks, and get the coin.
