World 1-1 is a level from World 1 which appears in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Layouts[]
In the beginning of the stage, just like in New Super Mario Bros., Princess Peach's Castle can be seen in the background. When Mario and friends start, there are three ? Blocks, a few Brick Blocks, and a Goomba. To the right are some moving sections of land, the latter of which has three platforms above it, and a green Pipe within it that leads to a room with coins, Brick Blocks, and a P-Switch. Ahead is the Midway Flag.
If players have the Propeller Suit, they can access the game's first Star Coin. Further along is a rolling hill with a secret alcove; if the you jump onto the green Pipe and waits, you will be brought to an area with three hidden 1-Up Mushrooms and dozens of coins. The pipe itself leads to an area with a Star Coin. The last platform needed with the Propeller Suit has the third and final Star Coin. After jumping over a few pits, the Flagpole can be seen past the final rolling hill.
Star Coins[]
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is just after the Checkpoint Flag, floating above two Coins and a row of two Brick Blocks and a ? Block. Mario and co. can use a Propeller Suit to fly up to it, or jump from the nearby hill.
- Star Coin 2: There will be a spinning ground wheel with a Green Pipe submerged inside. After entering the Pipe, the second Star Coin is floating high in the air between two Pipes with several Coins surrounding it. Mario and co. can again reach it with a Propeller Suit, or by wall kicking.
- Star Coin 3: Shortly after exiting the area with the second Star Coin, the third Star Coin is floating high in the air over a platform. Once more, Mario and co. must obtain it either with a Propeller Suit or by using the nearby Koopa Troopa to jump to it.

- This level is infamous for its easy lives, for it has a lot of 1-Up Mushrooms throughout the level and tons of Coins.
