Wizzerds are cyborg creatures which appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
Powers and abilities[]
Wizzerds are bean-like cyborg creatures with three-fingered hands. They can use magic attacks and fire energy lasers at Mario and his partners. Wizzerds can even raise their Attack by turning bigger or even raise their Defense. They can also use magic to alleviate themselves from the effects of DEF-Down. Wizzerds can tickle the front character with their hands or utilize a lightning attack that can hit both characters at once.
In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[]
Wizzerds are tough enemies that only appear in floors 71 to 79 in the Pit of 100 Trials. While their weaker and stronger brethren have the ability to heal each other by 10 HP and clone when they are alone, the standard Wizzerds can only heal themselves or their allies by 6 HP and do not have the ability to clone themselves.
Trivia[]
- Despite being the parent species of Dark Wizzerds, normal Wizzerds do not appear outside the Pit of 100 Trials, meaning that the player will most likely encounter them later on in their playthrough if they choose to complete that challenge.
- This is similar to how normal Piranha Plants can only be found in the Pit of 100 Trials in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and are stronger than all three of their subspecies who appear in the game.
