The Wings of Night (also known as the Sleepy Steath Scythe) is a team of the Glitz Pit in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

History[]

The Wings of Night is one of the newer teams of the Glitz Pit with Sir Swoop recently joining. However, Sir Swoop and his team of Swoopers can be only fought if Mario drops down enough rankings and after the KP Koopas are temporary taken off of the roster, if they have not yet defeated Rawk Hawk during Chapter 3. After the events of Chapter 3, the Wings of Night are replaced by the KP Koopas and are not seen again.

In the remake, Mario can request an Exhibition Match with the Wings of Night during Chapter 3 regardless of his current rank, due to the fact that it is no longer possible to move down a rank after losing to a lower ranked opponent.

Trivia[]

The Wings of Night is one of two teams that temporary replace another team in the game due to the events of the chapter. The other being the Destructors.
