The Wing Cap.
The Wing Cap is a hat used by Mario in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. It enables him to fly after Triple Jumping or launching out of a cannon. In Super Mario 64 DS, Mario uses a feather to get the abilities the Wing Cap gives, and only Mario can use this power up. In VS. Mode, other characters can get the wing cap.
In order to get the Wing Cap, you must collect 10 Power Stars, then go to the main floor of the castle and stand on the carpet, and then look at the ceiling. It will teleport you to a level where you will find the Red Switch, which will give you the Wing Cap ability.
