The Wind Crystal is one of the four Elemental Crystals who fights alongside Culex in Monstro Town in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It is a sentient crystal associated with the element of wind (or electricity, as evidenced from its attacks). The Wind Crystal, like the other three Elemental Crystals, originates from the Final Fantasy franchise, but in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the Wind Crystal is from the dimension of Vanda, like Culex.

The Wind Crystal has the highest Defense out of all the Elemental Crystals, and it also has low HP but decent Attack. The Wind Crystal uses many thunder-based moves such as Static E! and Electroshock. It can also use the dreaded Petal Blast to turn one of Mario's party into Mushroom. The Wind Crystal is vulnerable to Jumping attacks, and it is the only Elemental Crystal to have a vulnerability that is not a Special Attack.
