Weird Ball is the Star Skill used by Birdo in Mario Superstar Baseball. It does not return in Mario Super Sluggers, in which Birdo instead has Suction Ball as her Star Pitch and Cannon Swing as her Star Swing.

Whenever Birdo uses Weird Ball while either pitching or batting, the baseball turns into a pink-spotted egg as it bounces from one side to the next, leaving behind a rainbow trail as it moves. If Birdo uses the move while pitching, it can trick the batter and mess up their timing due to the movement of the egg. Overall, Weird Ball functions very similar to Yoshi's Egg Ball.
In Challenge mode, the Pink Egg item must be bought before Birdo can start using Weird Ball.
