Water rocket

Water rockets are an object in Super Mario Sunshine.

Description[]

Water rockets are placed along the rails for the Roller Coaster ride in Pinna Park. Mario can only use a water rocket while he is riding the Roller Coaster, and whenever the Roller Coaster touches a water rocket along the way, it automatically attaches to the end of FLUDD's Squirt Nozzle, at which point it can be aimed and fired. When launched, water rockets fire out of the Squirt Nozzle via a jet of pressurized water vapor. Only one water rocket can be attached to FLUDD, so if Mario touches a water rocket while one is attached to FLUDD, it is not collected.

In Super Mario Sunshine[]

Water rockets only appear during Pinna Park's first and eighth episodes, Mecha-Bowser Appears! and Roller Coaster Balloons, respectively. In the former episode, water rockets are used in the fight against Mecha-Bowser, where Mario must avoid multiple Bullet Bills fired by Mecha-Bowser, whom Mario has to hit a water rocket at four times to defeat it. Water rockets can be used to destroy any Bullet Bill trailing behind Mario. In the latter episode, Mario has to use water rockets to pop 20 large balloons in the shape of Bowser Jr.'s head.
