The Water Crystal is one of the four Elemental Crystals who fights alongside Culex in Monstro Town in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It is a sentient crystal associated with the element of water. The Water Crystal, like the other three Elemental Crystals, originates from the Final Fantasy franchise, but in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the Water Crystal is from the dimension of Vanda, like Culex.

The Water Crystal almost exclusively uses Ice-based moves, such as Blizzard and Ice Rock, even though it has "Water" in its name. Ironically, the Earth Crystal can use Water Blast but not the Water Crystal. It has medium Attack status but a rather high Defense.
