The Washroom is a room in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version.
Description[]
The Washroom is a cramped bathroom. On the left side, there is a toilet with an antique-style hanging tank. In the middle, there is a sink with a mirror above it. On the right side, next to the door, there is a radiator and a medicine cabinet above it. The sink often contains a 10 HP or 20 HP restoring Heart for Luigi.
The second floor of the mansion has its own Washroom with a nearly identical layout.
In Luigi's Mansion[]
The Washroom first becomes accessible during Area Two. Initially, if Luigi tries to enter the Washroom, he finds the door locked. A purple text box is then shown, "Erm, OCCUPIED!".
Once Luigi has caught five Boos, E. Gadd encourages him to go the Washroom, which becomes unlocked from that point onward. The Washroom is the only locked room in the mansion that Luigi can unlock without using a key.
When Luigi enters the Washroom, he sees Toad crying in a corner. Toad says that he dropped something important inside the toilet. After Luigi tells Toad to not worry about it, Toad immediately cheers up, and the lights in the Washroom turn on. Luigi can open the toilet to have it spit out the key to the Fortune-teller's Room.
During the blackout, Luigi can encounter one red Grabbing Ghost here.
