"Vampire Until Ready" is the thirty-second live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the animated episode "20,000 Koopas Under the Sea."
Plot[]
Mario and Luigi are complaining about a bat flying around their basement. While they have called an exterminator, he will only come after dark. After the bat steals Luigi's dinner he decides he'll get rid of the bat himself. Mario seemingly traps the bat in a napkin but it disappears. The exterminator arrives to get rid of the bat. He looks suspiciously like a vampire.
The Exterminator heads off to search for the bat and the moment he leaves the screen the bat returns. The Marios call for the Exterminator and he arrives just after the bat flies off. He scolds the Marios for their foolishness and goes to the bathroom. Once again, the bat returns when the Exterminator is gone. After calling for the Exterminator the Marios scare off the bat and are once again scolded for their fooling around. The Exterminator leaves saying he cannot exterminate a bat that doesn't exist. Of course, the bat returns upon his departure.
The Marios begin to note the pattern and decide to get the bat themselves. Using a plunger they capture the bat but it turns back into the Exterminator. He promises to leave but reveals that he just wanted to get some attention, as he has no friends. The Marios agree to be his friends and invite him to go bowling.
