VS. Super Mario Bros. is a two-player VS. System variation of Super Mario Bros., released on the VS. UniSystem, VS. DualSystem, and VS. Table cabinets. The game was first released in Europe in January 1986 and in North America the following month. VS. Super Mario Bros. introduces six levels, all of which went on to be reused in Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels.
In 2017, Hamster Corporation ported the game to the Nintendo Switch as an Arcade Archives title.
