Utter Nonsense, titled Soundalike Star in PAL releases, is a General minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour.
Opening[]
A roulette spins from the ten playable characters. After a few seconds, it stops on a specific character's image, with that character being the one whom the player has to imitate.
Gameplay[]
Like in The Choicest Voice, the system's built-in mic has to be used to imitate the selected character's voice. Utter Nonsense is the only minigame that can only be played using two to four human players. Before the players have to attempt to imitate a character's voice, that character's voice clip is played, followed by a three-second countdown. Once each player has imitated a character's voice, the minigame rates the voice recording from a score of 0 to 100. Whoever gets the highest score is ranked the winner, and their imitation is played.
