Turnip Cannons are an object in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
Description[]
They are mainly used to shoot turnips at enemies. Before a Turnip Cannon can be used, the player must first pull a blue handle to spawn the Turnip Cannon.

Turnip Cannon appear in certain courses, and are even the main feature of their own one, Turnip Cannon Jungle. After spawning a Turnip Cannon from pulling its handle, Captain Toad or Toadette enter inside the Turnip Cannon.
The controls for using the Turnip Cannon differ between versions. In the original Wii U version, the Wii U GamePad gyroscope can is used to aim the Turnip Cannon, and pressing to fire Turnips at enemies, coins, Super Gems, and Rock Blocks. In the Nintendo Switch version, the player has to press
if the system is in docked mode or use touch controls if it is in handheld mode. In the Nintendo 3DS version, the player uses touch controls.
