Tulipatooies are a type of enemy in Wario World.

Physical description[]

Tulipatooies are tall, orange flowers with a circular mouth, a pair of eyes, and a green leaf on its left and right side each.

Behavior[]

A Tulipatooie continuously spits out a Glue Globe before sucking it back up.

In Wario World[]

Tulipatooies are only encountered in Beanstalk Way. Wario can neither damage nor defeat a Tulipatooie. To bypass a Tulipatooie, Wario must cling to the Glue Globe as it comes out and then jump off immediately after. If Wario is sucked into a Tulipatooie with its Glue Globe, he takes damage.

Etymology[]

A Tulipatooie's name is a portmanteau of "tulip" and "ptooie," an onomatopoeia for spitting.
