The Triple Mushrooms (トリプルダッシュキノコ Toripuru Dasshu Kinoko?, Triple Dash Mushroom) are a bunch of three Mushrooms together. They are prominent items in the Mario Kart series, and first appear in Mario Kart 64.

In the Mario Kart series[]

Mario Kart 64[]

When the Triple Mushrooms are used, the Triple Mushrooms will afford the player three in a row that can be castoff one at a time. It grind away once the last of the three Mushrooms is used.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit[]

They reappear in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, act alike as in previous game, but this time they only debut in Time Trial mode.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!![]

If the player smash by a item while holding them, they lose two of the three Mushrooms.

Mario Kart DS[]

The Triple Mushrooms can be get semi-common items in the last five spots in Grand Prix and VS modes, and it can also be composed odd items by average and disappointing performance players in Battle Mode.

Mario Kart Wii[]

The driver can collect the Triple Mushrooms by grabbing an Item Box. In Time Trial, the player always starts with Triple Mushrooms. Using the Triple Mushrooms gives advantage to the player to take shortcuts.

Mario Kart 7[]

In Grand Prix and VS modes, The Triple Mushrooms can usually only be get in the bottom six spots; in Battle Mode, human players can only get an Triple Mushrooms at or near 1st spot, and the computer players cannot collect them.

Mario Kart 8[]

This time, the Mushrooms now cycle the player's kart, causing drivers who smash the kart to collect the sound effects of a Triple Mushroom. In Grand Prix and VS modes, all of the drivers may get an Triple Mushrooms at least 2000 units, though The Triple Mushrooms are most common at 6000 units; in Battle Mode, they can be collected at any point, though they are much more common when the driver has a balloon into a simple game of Balloon Battle or Bob-omb Blast in two minutes.

Similar to Mario Kart 8, the Mushrooms now cycle the driver's kart, causing opponents who smash the kart to collect the sound effects of a Triple Mushroom. In Grand Prix and VS modes, all may get an Triple Mushrooms at least 2000 units, though The Triple Mushrooms are most common at 6000 units; in Battle Mode, they can be collected at any point, though they are much more common when the player has one balloon left into a game of Balloon Battle or Bob-omb Blast in two minutes.

Mario Kart Tour[]

The Triple Mushroom appears as a special item in Tour. Drivers that has the Triple Mushroom as a special item are the only drivers that can obtain the Triple Mushroom.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit[]

Triple Mushroom makes another reappearance as an item.
