A Triple Dice is an item occurring in Mario Party DS and Mario Party Superstars. This replaces the Golden Mushroom, Super Mega Mushroom, Super Mushroom Capsule/Super 'Shroom Orb, and Thrice Candy (from Mario Party 2 through 8). When used, it allows the player to roll 3 Dice Blocks for a total of 3-30 spaces.

In Mario Party DS[]

Item-Triple

Triple Dice Set in-game.

Known as the Triple Dice Set in-game, it can be purchased from Monty Mole's Item Shop at a cost of 7 coins.

Alternatively, players may also get a chance of getting a Triple Dice Set at the tricolored vine ? Space on DK's Stone Statue, or at a random from an item Hidden Block on any board.

If the player rolls the same numbers they get 20 coins (or 50 coins for three "7's"). This item costs 7 coins if bought from an Item Shop.

Strategy[]

  • If you think Double Dice Sets were good, these are even better. Even though they are slightly more uncommon than their red brethren, they are still useful in almost any situation, as again, more spaces grant the player more options as to where to go on the board.

In Mario Party Superstars[]

This item functions the same way like it did in Mario Party DS. If the player rolls the same numbers, they get a bonus 20 coins. Like the Double Dice, there is no special coin bonus for matching the Dice Blocks with "7's". Three "7's" is now a bonus 20 coins instead of 50 (unlike in Mario Party 2 through 7 and DS) or 100 (in Mario Party 8). It costs 10 coins if bought at an Item Shop.
