Triangle Twisters is an unlockable puzzle mini-game from Mario Party DS. It is only playable after the player has completed story mode.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay takes place on a Triangular grid, where triangles of several different colors are placed. There are two modes of play, Frenzy and Focus. In Frenzy Mode, the player have sixty seconds to clear thirty triangles that can be matched on the board. The player gets forty points for four triangles, fifty for five, etc. If a big triangle is created, the player gets two hundred bonus points. If the level is cleared, the player gets a bonus of up to thirty seconds of game time and any remaining time is multiplied by one hundred points to get the player's time bonus (For example: If the remaining time is forty-four seconds, then you get sixteen extra seconds and 4,400 bonus points, due to the time limit being sixty seconds). In Focus, the player's job is to clear fifty puzzles. Just like Frenzy, the player gets Time Bonus points for clearing a level, but if four triangles make a different shape but is not on the top screen, then the player loses ten seconds. Each level lasts ninety seconds.
