Treasure Chomps are an enemy in Wario Land: Shake It!.

Physical description[]
They are living red treasure chests based on mimics. Treasure Chomps have the same base appearance as a regular treasure chest in the game but with added black, beady eyes and and mouth where it is opened.
Behavior[]
At first, a Treasure Chomp appears the same as a treasure chest, but if Wario tries either use a Dash Attack or Ground Pound on it, the Treasure Chest bites at him.
In Wario Land: Shake It![]
Treasure Chomps are only encountered in Boogie Mansion. Wario can only defeat a Treasure Chomp by feeding it a bomb, destroying it from within and allowing Wario to obtain its treasure.
