Tread Carefully

Tread Carefully is a mini-game from Mario Party 2. It would later reappear in both Mario Party: The Top 100 and Mario Party Superstars. In its first two appearances, the minigame is titled Shell Shocked.

Gameplay[]

The characters, who are placed inside a tank, are required to shoot cannons at each and blow one and another up. Each player's tank can withhold two hits before it blows up. Players can press the A-button to fire a straight shot, the B button to fire a lob shot and the Z-button to strafe. Straight shots are used to fire at opposing players when no interference is between them, while a lob shot is used to fire over the Warp Pipes scattered throughout the three stages.
