Toy Express is a recurring location in the WarioWare series. It may have first appeared in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, but Toy Express makes its first proper appearance in WarioWare: Touched!.

Description[]

Toy Express is a toy store located on Interstate 301 in Diamond City, where it is the main location where the city's residents go to purchase new video games and game consoles. The only time the store interior is seen is in WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

In WarioWare series[]

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$![]

An unnamed toy store, possibly Toy Express or a predecessor to it, appears in the background while Ken the Reporter, who is holding a copy of Pyoro, reports on the game's success. This report prompts Wario to start his own game development studio, WarioWare, Inc.. The toy store also appears in ending cutscene, in which Ken reports on the success of Wario's new game.

WarioWare: Touched![]

Toy Express appears in the opening cutscene of 9-Volt and 18-Volt's stage, Retro Action. Here, a large crowd is seen outside the store anticipating the release of the Nintendo GameCube game 36-Volt Man. The scene then cuts to 9-Volt and his friend 18-Volt in front of the store with a copy of the game. The duo then head to 9-Volt's House to play the newly-acquired game.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves[]

In the opening for 9-Volt and 18-Volt's stage, The Multiplayer Test, when 18-Volt accidentally broke 9-Volt's Game & Watch, the former goes to Toy Express to look for a replacement unit. As 18-Volt makes his way through the aisles, he cannot find any, but when he leaves Toy Express, 18-Volt notices a smaller video game store and goes there hoping to acquire a Game & Watch.

Game & Wario[]

Late in the game, after beating the game Pirates, Reporter John is seen in front of Toy Express, reporting that the game is a success. During this, a line of customers are seen waiting in front of the store as well as a group of fans dressed in pirate outfits.
