Towering Treetop is a board that appears in Mario Party 6.
Layout[]
Towering Treetop is mainly a forest-themed board with many flowers around and the talking tree (alluding to Woody Woods from Mario Party 3). There are special types of flowers that players can jump off on to reach higher areas. The way to get to the star is to reach the Star Space and pay the 20 coins.
Day[]
During the daytime, not much is changed except that the flowers are opened and the Boo Space is closed.
Night[]
During the nighttime, the flowers have closed up meaning that accessed to the higher area is impossible. Boo has now opened her space meaning that players can now steal coins or stars from other players. Woody’ counterpart is Warukio. Like in Woody Woods (from Mario Party 3), Warukio shows up and does a curse. And it occurs on one of the Green Spaces.
Spaces[]
Happening Spaces[]
- Landing on one of the happening spaces will have one of the players help make the tree sneeze. If he sneezes hard enough, there is a chance the players on higher areas will be blown down.
- Another happening space will cause bees to come out and sting the player. The number of bees will determine how many coins the player will lose (note that one bee will take 2 coins).
Trivia[]
- This is one of the three boards which has gimmicks recycled from boards in the first three installments of the Mario Party series. Towering Treetop uses the same gimmick(s) as Woody Woods (from Mario Party 3), E. Gadd's Garage uses the same gimmick(s) as Luigi's Engine Room (from Mario Party 1), and Castaway Bay uses the same gimmick(s) as Mario's Rainbow Castle (also from Mario Party 1).
