"Toupee" is the forty-first live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the animated episode "The Mark of Zero."
Plot[]
Mario and Luigi are desperately cleaning up due to Inspector Klean from the Board of Sanitation coming for an investigation. If they fail to pass his inspection they'll be evicted from their building. A series of disasters occur like garbage missing the garbage bin and a train racing by dropping stuff. Just then, Inspector Klean appears and claims he's in a bad mood. Right off he finds a couple problems and starts docking the Mario Bros. points. While he does his inspection, Ratigator steals his toupee.
Inspector Klean continues his inspection and Clog jumps onto his head. Inspector Klean feels it but Luigi claims it's just a leaky pipe (which loses them another fifty points). Luigi finally manages to get the toupee away from Ratigator by throwing him a stick to fetch. Mario then grabs Inspector Klean so that they can remove clog and put his toupee on but Inspector Klean evicts them.
Clog eventually gets off of Inspector Klean's head revealing that it somehow re-grew his hair. Inspector Klean feels the hair on his head and decides to let the Marios pass inspection... this time.
