Tokyo Blur 2 is a race track that was featured in Mario Kart Tour. Hence the prefix, it is the second layout of Tokyo Blur. Tokyo Blur 2 made its debut during the New Year's Tour of 2020.

Layout[]

The racers on Tokyo Blur 2 start on the Tōkyō Kō Renkakukyō, which is placed on the south side of the city, facing west, just like on Tokyo Blur 1. After the referee says "Go!", they continue west and turn right before hitting the southwest corner of the map, heading north a short distance before meeting a three-way intersection. However, unlike in Tokyo Blur 1, the racers make a right turn, heading northeast for a bit until they reach the second three-way intersection, turning left. The road goes into a 180-degree right turn so the racers head back south into the city, then turn left at the third three-way intersection. It continues as Tokyo Blur 1 from there.

In Mario Kart 8, the racers switch to this route when they finish the first lap, and spend the second lap on this route before switching to Tokyo Blur 3 on the final lap.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only route of Tokyo Blur to visit all three intersections.
