Physical description[]
Toad's appearance resembles his video game counterpart but far more detailed, like his pants having laces on the front and having more defined (yet stubby) legs. He also carries a backpack.
Personality traits[]
Toad is adorable and cheerful. Despite this light-hearted demeanor of his, he can also have a biting wit and isn’t afraid to go to battle to defend the people he cares about.
Biography[]
Toad lived in the Mushroom Kingdom and is a friend of Princess Peach.
Toad met Mario when he arrived at the Mushroom Forest. Mario told Toad about Luigi, who was trapped in the Dark Lands, much to Toad’s shock, who explained the place to the plumber. He then brought Mario over to the Mushroom Kingdom, alerting the citizens about Mario’s situation.
Toad and Mario visited Princess Peach in her castle. Surprised to meet another human, she brought him to the training course teaching him how to complete it before he completes it. If Mario completes the course, Peach will bring him along. After Mario's many failed attempts, he nearly reached the end but Peach brought him along with Toad to their journey.

Toad: [gasps in horror] Uh, that... is not good. Umm... Your brother has landed in the Dark Lands. They're under [whispers] Bowser's control.
Mario: Bowser?
Toad: He's the most evil, wretched creature alive! I'm taking you to see the princess. She can help. She can do anything!
Mario: Princess? (sees Peach's castle on a hill) Whoa!
Toad: Come on, Mario! Our big adventure begins now!
