The Shine Gate Sparkle

The Shine Gate Sparkle is the tenth episode of Delfino Plaza in Super Mario Sunshine.

Objective[]

Mario has to clean the the black graffiti off of the Shine Sprite statue on the Shine Gate.

Layout[]

Mario can go to the Shine Sprite statue on the Shine Gate by either using the Rocket Nozzle to perform a rocket jump in front of the gate, or a Side Somersault from the raised area behind. Mario has to spray water from F.L.U.D.D. using the regular nozzle to clean off the black graffiti on the Shine Sprite statue. The effigy gradually spins as the graffiti is cleared off. Once all of the graffiti is cleared off, the episode's Shine Sprite spawns high above the Shine Gate, and the Rocket Nozzle has to be used to acquire it.
