The Maze That Pays is a microgame featured under Wario's Intro Games folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!.

The microgame takes place in a maze with some coins in it. There are several intersecting horizontal and vertical paths. Paths that exceed the edge of the screen connect to the opposite side.
Gameplay[]
The player takes control of Wario, who has to collect every coin in the maze, in a somewhat similar manner to the Pac-Man games. Coins appear in groups of either two on a vertical path or four on a horizontal path, although this varies each time the microgame is played. If Wario collects every coin in the maze before the timer expires, the player wins at the microgame.
Difficulty levels[]
Each difficulty level adds another group of coins and changes the color of the walls, the latter of which has no effect on gameplay.
- Level 1: There is only one group of coins, and the walls are green.
- Level 2: There are two groups of coins, and the walls are blue.
- Level 3: There are three groups of coins, and the walls are red.
