The Artist's Studio

The Artist's Studio is a room in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version.

Description[]

The Artist's Studio has eight paintings lined up in a row along the back wall as well as a painting of a treasure chest on the right. Behind the easels are two-tiered shelves of art supplies, among which are sculptures of both Lydia and Biff Atlas.

In Luigi's Mansion[]

The Artist's Studio is the penultimate room of Area Four. Here, Luigi has to fight several waves of ghosts that Vincent Van Gore individually brings to life from the paintings, each spawning three ghosts of a certain type. Luigi first has to fight three Gold Ghosts, followed by three Purple Punchers, three Blue Twirlers, three Red Grabbing Ghosts, three Ghost Guys, three Garbage Can Ghosts, and lastly three Purple Bombers. Once Luigi has vacuumed up every wave of ghost, he can then vacuum Vincent Van Gore into his Poltergust 3000. After this, the spade-shaped Key to the Secret Altar spawns out of a painting of a treasure chest.

In PAL releases' and the Nintendo 3DS remake's Hidden Mansion mode, each wave instead consists of five ghosts.
