Tetris Attack Boxart

Tetris Attack (originally released as Panel de Pon on October 27, 1995 in Japan) is a puzzle game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy, released in 1996. Despite its name, it is not in any way related to the Tetris games.

It is the first installment of the Puzzle League series.

The game was later renamed Puzzle League.

Plot summary

The singleplayer story mode of the game takes place in Yoshi's Island. Bowser and his minions have cursed Yoshi's friends, and the player, playing as Yoshi, must defeat them in order to remove the curse and free them.

Reception

The reception of the game was very positive, and the game was featured among GameRadar's Top 100 Games of All Time, and Game Informer stated the game was "one of the most addicting puzzle games ever made".
