The Tea Room is a room in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version,.
Description[]
The Tea Room is a symmetrical room. It has two tables with four chairs (two in the Nintendo 3DS version) each, but there is a small box on the right table. Two cabinets also take up the entire length and height of the east and west walls. A chandelier decorated with crystals hangs in the middle of the Tea Room. There is an Arrow Switch on the left and right sides of the room each and another Arrow Switch just above the left table.
In Luigi's Mansion[]
The Tea Room first becomes accessible during Area Three. Before the room is cleared, there is a chance of a Gold Mouse appearing as soon as Luigi enters the room. Luigi can reveal another Gold Mouse by using his Game Boy Horror to scan a block of cheese hiding behind the left table. The Tea Room is the only room with two Gold Mice.
The Team Room has two White Grabbing Ghosts for enemies. Aside from this, there are dishes that fly from the shelves in Luigi's direction, similarly to what the pots and pans do in the Kitchen prior to clearing the room. Once both Grabbing Ghosts are vacuumed in, a white treasure chest containing the Ice Element Medal appears on the left table, and reaching it requires Luigi to use an Arrow Switch on the ground to go up to the ceiling, where he then has to use an Arrow Switch to land on the left table. Once Luigi has obtained the Ice Element Medal, an Ice Elemental Ghost can now spawn from the ice cubes on the right.
During the blackout, only one Blue Twirler makes an appearance.
In the PAL releases' and Nintendo 3DS version's Hidden Mansion, the Tea Room has significantly more ghosts, including a Blue Twirler, a Gold Ghost, a Red Grabbing Ghost, three Flashes, and four Ghost Guys.
