Target Shot is a minigame in Mario Tennis for the Game Boy Color.
Description[]
The minigame stars Baby Mario as the playable character. The gameplay involves him having to hit a ball into the target area on the other side of the court, indicated by the flashing corners. The shots are returned to Baby Mario by the Ball Bot. He earns points depending on the type of shot he makes: three points for either a Flat Shot, Strong Topspin, or Strong Slice and five points for either a Smash, Lob, or a Drop Shot. Baby Mario can earn bonus points by hitting the shot indicated onscreen. The minigame ends once Baby Mario fails to hit the ball into the target area.
