Tag Barrels are found throughout levels and stages in the game and the main function of them is to switch out between the Kongs. A Tag Barrel can be identified from a distance as a small star and can be jumped into. Once all of the Kongs, [[Donkey Kong]], [[Diddy Kong]], [[Tiny Kong]], [[Lanky Kong]], and [[Chunky Kong]], have been unlocked, they each can be selected. It should be noted that the Kongs break the fourth wall by noticing the player trying to choose them. If the player isn't on a specific Kong, the Kong will try to get the player to choose them.
