Switch Way? is a single-player minigame in Mario Party Advance.
Opening[]
The goal is shown, then the camera pans over to the starting point, where the player's character is.
Gameplay[]
The player's character has to try and reach the goal through the use of wide blocks that travel in the specified direction. A block moves when the player's character stands on it, and it disappears after a few seconds. The direction that a block travels in can be changed by either jumping at it from below or ground-pounding it from on top. A block can move either horizontally or vertically. If a block is moving horizontally, it moves left if the player's character is standing on the left side or right if they are standing on the right side.
In the Shroom City and Mini-Game Attack modes, the object is to reach the goal within 99 seconds. In Play Land, the course is longer, and the object is to instead reach the goal within the fastest time. Shroom City uses a much smaller course than the respective Mini-Game Attack and Play Land modes.
Controls[]
: Move left or right
: Jump
(in midair): Ground Pound
