Super Slide is a secret area accessed from Delfino Plaza in Super Mario Sunshine.
Layout[]
Like some other secret courses, Super Slide takes place high into the sky. Super Slide is made up of colorful blocks that slope downward to form a slide. It begins with five blocks without any obstacles, followed by blocks with five holes. The path then becomes thinner, and the next section consists of blocks with tiny ramps. The ramps can be used to reach the bottom more quickly. After this, the path widens again with two holes and a gap that one automatically slides over. The path gets very thin next, with a long pit through the middle, then it gets even thinner, to the point of becoming about as wide as Mario himself. This thin path leads to a flat platform with a small block in the corner.
Objective[]
Mario must go down a large slide and collect the Shine Sprite on the block at the very bottom. Mario must avoid falling through the holes or off the sides of the platforms, otherwise he loses a life.
In Super Mario Sunshine[]
Super Slide is accessed from a Warp Pipe on a pillar in the northeast of Delfino Plaza. Collecting the Shine Sprite of Super Slide is counted toward collecting one of Delfino Plaza's, even though the two locations are far off from one another.
