The Super Nintendo World is a real-world theme park area owned by Universal Parks & Resorts. The first area launched in Japan on March 18, 2021, and the second area launched in Hollywood on February 17, 2023. Although Nintendo is featured in the name of the theme park, Super Nintendo World is particularly centered around the Mario franchise, with even its logo being themed as such.
History[]
The opening was originally set for February 18, 2021, but it was delayed due to Osaka entering a state of coronavirus.[1]
In 2024, Universal Studios Japan plans to unveil an area introducing Donkey Kong.[1]
