Super Mario Party Jamboree is a game in the Mario Party franchise for the Nintendo Switch and a sequel to Super Mario Party. The game was announced on the Nintendo Direct of June 18, 2024[1] and released worldwide on October 17, 2024. Super Mario Party Jamboree features five new boards, as well as two returning from Mario Party and Mario Party 2 respectively, giving it a total of seven boards. The game also has 22 playable characters, as well as seven new modes, and over 110 mini-games.

An enhanced version of the game for the Nintendo Switch 2 was released on July 24, 2025 under the name Super Mario Party Jamboree: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV. It will include new game modes along with visual enhancements, improved framerate, and support for CameraPlay and GameShare.[2]

Summary[]

The game opens with Kamek flying toward the camera and directly addressing the player. He introduces the various boards and modes before descending to the Party Plaza, where all of the playable characters are gathered. Kamek explains that the objective, as in previous Mario Party titles, is to compete for superstardom. Acting as the party organizer, Kamek announces his intention to "have a little fun" and uses his wand to transform a Toady into a gigantic Imposter Bowser. This event sets the stage for the party to commence.
