Super Mario Bros. 35 was a limited time tournament in the form of a platforming and battle royale game for the Nintendo Switch, part of the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary. The game is basically Super Mario Bros., but with "35" players. The player can win by being the last Mario alive, and killing enemies can send them over to other characters. It was released digitally exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online users on October 1st, 2020 and the game shut down on March 31st, 2021 [1]at the end of the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary celebration [2].
