Super Mario Bros. is a Nintendo Classics microgame which appears in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. It is both based on and takes place within the game of the same name. Super Mario Bros. and the other microgames from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! were directly ported over to WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!.
Layout[]
The HUD shows that the level takes place in World 1-1. Both the score and Coin counter are at zero.
Gameplay[]
The object is for Small Mario to defeat any Goomba by stomping them within the time limit, an objective shared with Super Wario Bros.. In Level 1, there is only one Goomba, whereas Levels 2 and 3 feature two and three Goombas respectively. Once every Goomba is defeated, the player wins the microgame. If either the microgame timer runs out, not every Goomba has been stomped, or if Small Mario gets defeated by a Goomba, the player loses at the microgame
Just like in Super Mario Bros. itself, Mario can earn 100 points from stomping a Goomba or even 200 and 400 points if the second and third Goombas are each stomped in succession. For the microgame, this has no effect on gameplay.
