The Super Crown[1] is a power-up in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.

Toadette is the only playable character who can use this item. In this case, Toadette becomes Peachette and she will have similar abilities to Princess Peach. Peachette has abilities complementary to Flying Squirrel Mario. She can float or perform a midair jump. Peachette can recover from the bottomless pit with the midair jump without the player doing it. However, Peachette cannot cling to the wall.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

The Super Crown debuted in Deluxe as a power-up. This item is exclusively used by Toadette, as anyone other than her may collect a 10 coin bonus. In many levels, the Super Crown replaces the Super Acorn.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

The Super Crown appeared in the Version 1.20 update.[2] Before the end of the game, Toadette appears next to the Super Crown. During the staff credits, the Super Crown is seen hanging onto the mine cart.

  • In the game's description, it apologises to Luigi that he cannot use the Super Crown.[1]
  • If Toadette uses the Super Crown and meets Princess Peach who is behind the window, she will look confused and will say "What?".[3]
    • At the end of the game, Toadette comes to Peach into her normal form despite defeating Bowser as Peachette.
